Fertilizer Transfer & Handling

FertiTransfer Full Length Transfer. Folded for Transport.

Hydraulic Folding Transfer Conveyor

FertiTransfer is a heavy duty hydraulically folding fertilizer transfer conveyor developed for mobile and modular fertilizer plants. It provides full working conveyor length while reducing its transport length hydraulically, without dismantling the machine into separate conveyor sections.

Working Length Approx. 12 m

Full conveyor working configuration.

Folded Length Approx. 7 m

Reduced transport length when hydraulically folded.

Design Throughput Approx. 60 to 180 t/h

Depending on required capacity and configuration.

Deployment Approx. 2 Minutes

Hydraulic deployment for operation.

Application

Transfer Length Where It Is Needed. Compact When It Is Not.

Mobile and modular fertilizer plants still need effective material movement between processing stages, plant levels and discharge points.

FertiTransfer provides the working conveyor length required for the plant while reducing its transport length hydraulically when the equipment needs to be moved.

Folding Principle Reduce transport length without dismantling the conveyor into separate sections.
Material Transfer

Move Fertilizer Between Plant Stages

Transfer fertilizer between receiving, blending, screening, bagging or downstream handling equipment.

Plant Integration

Reach the Required Discharge Point

Operating height and discharge arrangement are developed around the plant layout and material flow requirement.

Plant Movement

Fold When the Equipment Needs to Move

The hydraulic folding arrangement reduces transport length for mobile and modular fertilizer plant applications.

How FertiTransfer Works

Full Conveyor Length When the Plant Is Operating.

FertiTransfer is designed to provide the conveyor length required during plant operation while reducing its overall length when the equipment needs to be transported.

The conveyor folds hydraulically, allowing the machine to move between its working and transport configurations without separating the conveyor into individual sections.

Operate

Full Working Configuration

The conveyor operates at its full working length to transfer fertilizer between the required plant stages or discharge points.

Fold

Hydraulic Folding

The conveyor folds hydraulically to reduce its overall length without dismantling it into separate conveyor sections.

Transport

Reduced Transport Length

Once folded, the conveyor length is reduced from approximately 12 m to approximately 7 m for transport.

Deploy

Return to Operation

Hydraulic deployment takes approximately two minutes, allowing the conveyor to return to its working configuration.

Engineering Principle Transportability is built into the conveyor configuration.

The working length does not need to be sacrificed simply because the plant or conveyor needs to be moved.

Engineering Features

Configured Around the Plant Requirement.

FertiTransfer is not defined by one fixed conveyor arrangement. Key elements are selected around the required capacity, material movement and the way the conveyor needs to integrate into the plant.

This allows the transfer system to be developed around the operating requirement rather than forcing the plant layout around a standard machine.

Folding System

Hydraulic Folding

The conveyor folds hydraulically to reduce its transport length without requiring the conveyor to be dismantled into separate sections.

Capacity

Throughput Selected Around the Requirement

Current design configurations cover approximately 60 to 180 tonnes per hour depending on the required capacity and conveyor configuration.

Belt Selection

Belt Width Matched to Throughput

Belt width is selected according to the required material transfer capacity rather than applying one standard width to every installation.

Operating Height

Designed to Suit the Plant

Operating height is developed around the specific plant arrangement and required discharge point.

Configuration

Mobile and Modular Application

FertiTransfer is designed for mobile and modular fertilizer plants where movement and deployment form part of the equipment requirement.

Optional Engineering

Height Adjustable Versions Where Required

Height adjustable versions can be engineered for specific applications. The standard FertiTransfer configuration is not height adjustable.

Plant Integration

One Conveyor. Part of the Complete Process.

Within a complete fertilizer plant, transfer equipment connects process stages and keeps material moving between one operation and the next.

FertiTransfer can be engineered into the plant according to where product needs to be received, elevated, transferred or discharged within the overall process.

Integrated Material Flow

Transfer Is Defined by What Happens Before and After It.

The conveyor cannot be considered in isolation. Receiving height, discharge position, upstream equipment, downstream equipment and required throughput all influence the final transfer arrangement.

Upstream Where is the fertilizer coming from?
Transfer How far and at what capacity must it move?
Discharge Where must the material enter the next process stage?
Integration What plant equipment and infrastructure must remain?
Complete Fertilizer Plants Need more than a transfer conveyor?

Ferti can engineer the equipment as part of a complete fertilizer processing, blending, handling and bagging plant.

Support & Spares

Support Beyond Equipment Supply.

Supplying the conveyor is only one part of getting equipment ready to operate. Ferti support can extend through installation, commissioning, training, fault finding and ongoing technical support.

Serviceability, critical spares and replacement component requirements can also be considered during equipment and project planning.

Prepare

Installation & Assembly Support

Installation and assembly support can be provided according to the site, supplied equipment and wider project requirement.

Commission

Commissioning

The conveyor can be commissioned as part of the wider plant commissioning process before operational handover.

Train

Operator & Maintenance Training

Training can be planned around the supplied equipment, operating requirements and maintenance needs of the installation.

Support

Technical Support & Fault Finding

Remote fault finding and technical assistance are available, with on-site support where remote input is not sufficient.

Serviceability

Plan for Maintenance Before It Becomes Urgent.

Critical spares can be identified around the supplied conveyor configuration and expected maintenance requirement.

Where standard commercially available components are used, replacement specifications can help support local sourcing.

Spares Planning Critical Spares

Selected around the supplied conveyor, installation and operating requirement.

Replacement Replacement Specifications

Clear replacement specifications can be provided for commercially available components.

Serviceability Standard Components

Where practical, commercially available components can support easier replacement and sourcing.

Specialist Supply Specialised Components

Specialised or preconfigured components can be supplied from South Africa where required.
