Ferti — A specialist fertilizer equipment range developed by G&G Engineering By G&G Engineering

Fertilizer Stacking

Development Stage

FertiStack

Move Fertilizer
Into the Required Stockpile.

Mobile Fertilizer Stacking Conveyor

FertiStack is being developed as a mobile fertilizer stacking conveyor for screened, blended or recovered product.

The current design is intended to provide a modular material handling option where fertilizer needs to be transferred into a stockpile as part of the wider process.

Development-Stage Concept Visual
Current Design Status FertiStack has not yet been built. The visual shown is an illustrative concept and does not represent a manufactured unit.
Working Length Approx. 11.4 m

Current design basis for the stacking conveyor.

Belt Width Approx. 400 mm

Current belt width within the development design.

Configuration Mobile & Modular

Intended for use as a repositionable fertilizer handling component.

Intended Application Fertilizer Stockpiling

Screened, blended or recovered fertilizer.

Performance Status Final discharge height and throughput are still to be confirmed.

These values will only be published once detailed design, manufacture and testing have established the final operating performance.

Stockpiling Application

Move Processed Fertilizer Into the Required Stockpile Area.

Fertilizer leaving a screening, blending or recovery stage may still need to be transferred away from the process equipment and into the required stockpile position.

FertiStack is being developed as a mobile and modular conveyor for this material handling stage.

Application Inputs

Define the Conveyor Around the Material Route.

Final conveyor geometry and performance need to be considered against the actual plant and stockpiling requirement.

Fertilizer Product What material will be stockpiled?
Upstream Process Where will the fertilizer enter the conveyor?
Stockpile Position Where does the material need to be discharged?
Site Layout What floor space and access are available?
Required Output What material handling rate is required?
Configuration How will the conveyor need to move or reposition?

Plant Configuration & Integration

Position the Conveyor Around the Required Material Route.

FertiStack is intended to connect upstream fertilizer equipment with the required stockpile position.

Feed position, discharge location, available space and mobility requirements should therefore be considered together when the final conveyor arrangement is defined.

Integration Principle Define the stacking conveyor around the actual process, equipment interfaces and available site geometry.
01 Upstream Equipment

Establish where processed fertilizer leaves the preceding stage.

02 FertiStack Position

Define the conveyor orientation around the required material route.

03 Stockpile Destination

Position the discharge around the required stockpile area.

Feed Point

Where Does the Fertilizer Enter?

The conveyor arrangement should account for the position and height of the equipment feeding FertiStack.

Stockpile Position

Where Must the Product Be Discharged?

The required stockpile location influences the final conveyor geometry and discharge arrangement.

Site Layout

Work Within the Available Space

Floor space, access and surrounding equipment should be considered before the final arrangement is defined.

Mobility

Define How the Conveyor Needs to Move

The mobile and modular concept should reflect how the conveyor needs to be positioned or repositioned during use.

Application Specific Engineering Design the material route around the process and site.

Final conveyor geometry and discharge position are developed around the actual fertilizer application, surrounding equipment and available plant space.

Discuss Your Stockpiling Requirement

Start With the Material Route You Need.

Tell the Ferti team what fertilizer needs to be moved, where it leaves the upstream process and where the stockpile needs to be positioned.

From there, the conveyor requirement can be considered around output, available space, feed geometry and mobility.

Useful Project Information

Tell Us What the Conveyor Needs to Connect.

Basic site information, equipment positions and required material movement are enough to begin the engineering discussion.

Fertilizer Product What material needs to be stockpiled?
Upstream Process Where will the fertilizer come from?
Stockpile Position Where does the fertilizer need to be discharged?
Required Output What material handling rate does the process require?
Site & Location What space, access and installation location must be considered?
Mobility Will the conveyor need to be repositioned?

Photographs, layout drawings and dimensions of the upstream equipment and intended stockpile area can help define the required conveyor arrangement.
