Ferti — A specialist fertilizer equipment range developed by G&G Engineering By G&G Engineering

Fertilizer Screening

Design Stage

FertiScreen

Separate Fertilizer Into Defined Product Streams.

Fertilizer Screening System

FertiScreen is a double-deck fertilizer screening system being developed to separate material into oversize, usable product and fines.

Screen apertures, feed hopper size and equipment configuration can be selected around the fertilizer, required separation and plant arrangement.

Design-Stage Screening Application
Current Design Status FertiScreen is currently at design stage. The first unit has not yet been built and performance remains subject to final manufacture and testing.
Design Capacity Up to Approx. 60 t/h

Depending on fertilizer, moisture, apertures and operating conditions.

Screening Area Approx. 6 m²

Current double-deck screening design basis.

Intended Separation Three Product Streams

Oversize, usable fertilizer and fines.

Configuration Mobile or Fixed

Final arrangement can be developed around the application.

Screening Application

Separate Material Before It Moves Further Through the Plant.

Screening allows fertilizer to be separated according to the product size required for the next stage of the process.

FertiScreen is being developed around three intended output streams: oversize material, usable fertilizer and fines.

Screening Objective Separate fertilizer into the product streams required by the wider process.
Oversize Material

Remove Material Above the Required Size

The screening stage is intended to separate oversize fertilizer from material that can continue through the required process.

Usable Product

Retain the Required Fertilizer Fraction

The usable product stream represents fertilizer that falls within the selected screening range for the application.

Fines

Separate Material Below the Selected Range

Fines can be separated as a distinct output stream rather than remaining mixed with the usable fertilizer product.

Product-Specific Setup

Select Apertures Around the Required Separation

Upper and lower screen apertures can be selected according to the fertilizer and the product separation required.

Screening Variables Screening performance depends on the product and operating conditions — not equipment size alone.

Current Design Status FertiScreen is currently at design stage.

The current design is intended for up to approximately 60 t/h, depending on fertilizer type, moisture, screen apertures and operating conditions. This is a design target, not proven performance.

Discuss Your Screening Requirement

Start With the Fertilizer and the Separation You Need.

Tell us what fertilizer needs to be screened, its condition and the product separation required.

From there, the screening arrangement can be considered around throughput, apertures, available space and the wider process.

FertiScreen is currently at design stage. Final operating performance will be confirmed after manufacture and testing.

Useful Starting Information

What Helps Us Define the Application.

Preliminary information, photographs and product details are enough to begin the engineering discussion.

Product & Condition Fertilizer type, moisture, lumping or other relevant material conditions.
Required Separation The usable product range and the oversize or fines that need to be removed.
Feed & Throughput Required material rate and how fertilizer will enter the screening stage.
Site & Configuration Available space, existing equipment and whether the arrangement should be mobile or fixed.

Plant drawings, photographs and details of upstream or downstream equipment can help define the screening arrangement.
